Tree maimed, Kety Morales. May

TREE MAIMED

Even maimed, radiate beauty
No matter that some of you have
the mowing. You are still tree

You are strong, your trunk hardened proves it.
You will be faced with the same gallantry
That you did so far.

And the wind, rain, sun ...
will correct
ointments to soothe your wounds.

come to you, I'm sure,
Those who were with you always. Traveling
your branches with gentle strokes
With new life, with perfect edges Morales

long time that he knew nothing of Kety Morales, that of "The Tales of Grandma." I wrote an email, asking how she was. She said she needed a poet, who had cut the arm of our tree, horse chestnut, which she dedicated many poems, after seeing my photographs. Kety expressed very well what I told him a bad time in my life and my identification with that snow-covered tree in my imagination saw a woman with raised arms.

"stretched out his arms looking at the sky.
Her cold body was covered with frost.
Even still cold the cloak that covered her feet.
stood erect, with hope. "
(Kety Morales)

In its reply, sent me a new poem, dedicated to tree maimed, despite its problems famiiares.

Thank you, Kety.
